Welcome to Crier! These terms apply to venues and organizations that use our venue dashboard to manage event listings. By using the dashboard, you agree to the following.
When you post events, upload flyers, or share any content through Crier, that content is yours and you're responsible for it. This includes event details, images, descriptions, and any links you provide. Make sure you have the right to use everything you upload. If someone else created your flyer or promotional material, make sure you have their permission to share it.
Crier is used by people of all ages across Birmingham. Please don't post:
Use good judgment. If you wouldn't put it on a flyer in your front window, it probably doesn't belong here either.
We reserve the right to remove any content or event listing at our discretion, including but not limited to content that violates these terms. We'll try to let you know if we do, but we're not required to give advance notice.
By uploading content to Crier, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use that content within the Crier app and for related promotional purposes. This includes social media posts featuring Birmingham events, year-in-review features, marketing materials, and similar uses. You still own your content. We just need permission to show it in the app and talk about it.
You agree to hold Crier and its team harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses that arise from content you upload or events you post. In plain English: if your content causes a problem, that's on you, not us.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know through the dashboard. Continued use of the venue dashboard after changes means you accept the updated terms.
